Global Literature in Libraries Initiative & International Literature Showcase

This month, Paper Republic has been collaborating with the Global Literature in Libraries Initiative to produce a series of blog posts on Chinese Literature. The GLLI is all about raising the profile of books in translation from around the world, and to that end they invite translators from a different language or culture to curate the blog each month. Helen Wang coordinated the month of February for us, and she managed to put together a fascinating range of pieces – you can see the full list of all 28 posts here (I contributed an introduction to Read Paper Republic and a Chinese Literature FAQ).

Paper Republic was also in the spotlight over on the International Literature Showcase site earlier this month, where we offered a selection of thoughts on what we do, Chinese literature, and translation and general.
